Veolia Environnement Research & Innovation
It is the main research center of Veolia Environnement, based in France. VERI objectives are to anticipate environmental and public health standards, develop the tools and processes of future, improve the existing techniques and provide expertise to operating companies and builders. It represents around 500 employees, mainly engineers and technicians, working for example on water, wastewater and sludge treatment, process water and wastewater for industrial management, water reuse, chemical and biological processes, environmental studies, water supply and sewerage system management and design.
Creates and markets innovative, low-cost solutions for the detection of a wide range of chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic substances. The SME’s technologies diagnose the interaction of a chemical compound or industrial effluent with a complete, complex organism. Watchfrog’s versatile technology derives from a fundamental research program carried out within an internationally recognized research laboratory affiliated to the CNRS and located within the French Natural History Museum.
